In this passage of Scripture - Revelation 4:1 - Jesus is calling John to acquire a different perspective, not one of the earth but one of heaven. Jesus is calling John to consider the things that He is about to show him from His perspective. Now, that has so many applications. The one that I want to share with you today is this: Let's be very careful about judging other believers.
We are to judge. There's no question about that. But the Scripture says that we are to judge righteously. Well, in order to judge righteously, friends, we have got to have a godly perspective, right?
