Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit… Acts 4:8
The indwelling Spirit of God gives us courage and boldness. And Acts 4:8 is just one example of that.
I want to encourage you today, friends, all of you who name the name of Jesus, who have the Holy Spirit of God living within you, not to cower, not to be afraid, certainly not to be ashamed, or even given over to despair. He has already given us His Holy Spirit. And we are to go forth with power, with love, in a sound mind, and offer the only hope that this dying world needs. And that is faith alone in Christ alone for the salvation of their souls.
Trust in the Lord Jesus for eternal life. That is our message. I encourage you today to take every opportunity to do that. You can speak with boldness and courage because the Holy Spirit is within you.
