Most of the world’s population was shocked when the radical terrorist organization Hamas, financed and managed by the Mullahs of Iran via Biden’s gift of billions of dollars, infiltrated the Israeli border from points in Gaza days ago. The shock was not related as much to the event itself, as alarming as that was, but at the barbarity of these Islamic jihadists. Reports and images of the cruelty visited upon innocent men, women, children, toddlers, and even infants in their cribs, have flooded media platforms. The bare-naked truth of the indiscriminate barbarity inflicted upon the Jews is difficult to hide and impossible to defend. That hasn’t stopped the usual suspects from trying though.
The “Gang” of Congressional traitors and treasonous “representatives” scrambled to deflect blame to Israel for the mass murder of hundreds of Jews. This time, most Americans have seen, heard, and had enough. The pushback has been swift and withering. I pray the negative backlash continues unabated and grows in intensity. The “Gang” do not represent America or American values. They are radical women who hate everything America stands for ideally, and are working feverishly to undermine and in fact, destroy, the foundational principles of freedom and liberty.
The Biden regime is backpedaling and obfuscating the truth that he/they paid for this massacre of Jewish people through their policy of appeasement and laundering of billions of dollars to the Iranians. This behavior clearly signaled the Biden regime’s incompetence and their unwillingness to do anything other than concede defeat to these Islamists. The image of Biden as a dithering imbecile is warranted.
On the ground in Israel, a surge of survival instinct has engulfed a largely secular people. A new coalition government has come together, one that was unimaginable even ten days ago. Jewish reservists have been called into action to the tune of at least 300,000 according to a briefing I listened to today.
To those who have been paying attention to all the tirades, rants, and demonically inspired propaganda of the Muslim Jihadist’s over several decades, which by the way goes all the way back to Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who strategized with Adolph Hitler, and who conceived of the Jewish genocide that Hitler turned into his “final solution” to the “Jewish problem,” their barbarity in this Jewish massacre, was exactly what the Islamic terrorists promised to do one day. This explains the celebrations all across the world by Islamists.
Many Israelis have lost heart and faith in their government’s ability to keep them safe. It appears that many are placing their faith in retaliation, in the destruction and conquest of Gaza. Prime Minister Netanyahu recently foretold of the possibility of destroying Damascus if Syria gets involved in the war. He better be prepared to back those words up because missiles have begun to be fired into Israel from Syria.
The Jewish people are rightfully angry and looking to completely destroy Hamas wherever they are found. In doing so, they will attempt to keep Gaza from ever falling into the hands of Islamic terrorists again and they will send a message to every terrorist that if you attack Israel, your days on this earth are numbered.
Is this a fulfillment of the Psalms 83 war that Bill Salus and many others have written about?1 Christians who uphold the Bible as the Word of God are looking for signs that God is moving in the hearts of His people Israel during this sobering time. Information coming out of Israel is slow concerning what the Jewish religious leaders are saying to the people. In the midst of fear and anger, is there a cry to God to intervene? Will He intervene if called upon? Is there a move of the Spirit of God to bring Yeshua to the forefront of Jewish thinking?
There are many Christian ministries to the Jewish people in Israel today. Most of them experience some level of opposition. Nevertheless they continue to preach the Gospel of Jesus the Christ, inviting Jewish people to explore their true Messiah, Yeshua Ha Mashiach, the Lord Yeshua/Jesus.
I am reminded of the parable Jesus spoke to His disciples as recorded in Luke 18:1-8.
1 Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, 2 saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. 3 There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’ 4 For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, 5 yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’” 6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; 7 now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? 8 I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
This parable has been misunderstood frequently. God is not the unjust judge. Neither is the widow the church. The widow is Israel (who is also the elect mentioned by Jesus) and the unjust judge is the world system of the dragon of old. God is contrasted with this unjust judge beginning in verse 7.
The late Harry Ironside gives us this insight concerning the widow as Israel.
She was called the wife of Jehovah, but because of her sins, unbelief, and spiritual adultery, she was separated from her rightful Husband, and abides in the world today as a widow. What suffering she has endured down through the centuries! During all these long years her earnest cries have gone up to heaven, that she might be avenged of her cruel adversaries…He (God) cannot turn a deaf ear to the cry of the afflicted, but in due time He will avenge His own elect. These are the elect of Israel, not the church. The cries of God’s elect have been going up to Him day and night, and the time is coming when He will answer their cries.2
My point in citing this passage from Luke is to remind readers that even an unjust judge will rule for justice once in a great while if for no other reason than to get rid of a nuisance. This world system is established and fueled to eradicate the Jewish people but every once in a great while even it bows the knee to world opinion concerning Israel and will do what is right on her behalf. Some would argue the “unjust” will only side with Israel if it fits their globalist agenda.
In the Luke passage above, Jesus also calls our attention to the fact that Yahweh still loves and is concerned for His people Israel. This has been a hotly contested statement in much of the Western church establishment. The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction (BDS) Movement would be largely unsuccessful globally without the strong and vocal support of many churches, organizations, and individuals who claim Jesus as Savior. How ironic that these people and the churches and organizations they financially support, stand in direct opposition to the truth of the Bible concerning the Jewish people. I see this extreme irony and contradiction as a sign of the return of Jesus for His people.
That time may be much sooner than many think brothers and sisters. I’ve repeatedly said for many decades now, that Israel is Yahweh’s timepiece. The present cry of the Jewish heart is answered by Yeshua. Jesus gave us the answer to the longing cries of His people Israel in Luke 18:7-8. “Will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
A day is coming when “all Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26), even though this will be through tribulation. Zechariah 12:2-4 details a great prophecy of Yahweh’s deliverance of His people when the nations rise up against Israel.
2 “Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. 3 It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. 4 In that day,” declares the Lord, “I will strike every horse with bewilderment and his rider with madness. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
Yahweh has committed Himself to protect His people Israel. Theologies, doctrines, and opinions that teach otherwise are simply not biblical. Any theology, doctrine, or interpretation of the Scriptures that foments hatred toward the Jewish people is not of Yahweh. Any theology, doctrine, or opinion that teaches Christians or the church corporately have replaced Israel is in error. The Bible is clear about the true place of the Jewish people in Yahweh’s eyes. My friend Tov Rose recently wrote a lengthy article on a social media platform. I share some of that post here with his permission.
In Romans 9-11, Paul gives the main point of his writing the letter to the Romans. In these chapters, Paul shows his readers, first-century Roman believers and us today, that Israel's rejection of Jesus as a Nation does NOT include rejecting the faithful Remnant of physical Israel. Actual Jewish followers of King Messiah, Jesus.
He states it in several ways:
"But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel," Romans 9:6 ESV
Paul starts this by saying, "It is not as though the word of God has failed." "For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel"—the reality is that there are in fact two Israel’s—physical national Israel and true or spiritual Israel. Paul teaches us that God's promises have not failed. God never intended that all of the nation Israel would be rejected. "True Israel" (or "spiritual Israel") is found within national Israel. We have not been rejected.
We find that one can be a physical Israelite without truly being a true Israelite. The promises are to "true Israel" even if we who are true Israel are not in possession and governance of our land. True Israel consists of Bloodline Jewish people. Paul clearly states in Ephesians 2:11-13 that All who are joined to Jesus by faith who are not actual physical descendants of Jacob are part of the Commonwealth of Israel. This is a statement about believing Nations who have chosen to submit to the government of the King of Israel. This is a direct reference to Jesus statement in His Great Commission, "Therefore go and make disciples of All Nations..."(Matthew 28:19b).
Notice what Paul says in chapter 11:
"I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin." Romans 11:1 ESV
Paul is a leader of Remnant Israel.
Who are "His people"? Many say that it is the nation Israel, but in reality this is a reference to the Remnant or True Israel that exists WITHIN the nation Israel.
"So too at the present time there is a Remnant, chosen by grace." Romans 11:5 ESV
In Paul's day there was a Remnant. TODAY there is a Remnant. God has not and never will reject His Remnant Israel. His Remnant people of Israel are all who are trusting in Yeshua alone for their salvation.
"What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The Elect (Remnant) obtained it, but the rest were hardened," Romans 11:7 ESV
Notice that it does not say "His people failed to obtain it." His Remnant are the "elect" and we Remnant have obtained it.
I AM JEWISH. I BELIEVE in JESUS.
I AM ISRAEL.
If you were not born of the ethnic and tribes of Israel then you are NOT physically us. And you have NOT replaced us. You are adopted and part of the family but adopted kids do NOT replace the Bloodline Heirs in any Kingdom. Ever. Jesus had, currently has and will always will have earthly Bloodline Jewish Israeli relatives. You serve my King, the King of Israel. I and my believing brothers and sisters, cousins, mothers and fathers, aunts, and uncles--We Are Israel.
Being "grafted in" means you've been given the privilege of "becoming like." It is not a mandate to bully or take over the natural branches WHO ARE STILL ON THE TREE or have been grafted back in!
You do not own the tree. The King owns it and placed you among the branches of His Own Family, contrary to the way things are done by expert horticulturalists and contrary to nature (Romans 11:24).
Grafting does not make you Jewish, it does not make you Israeli, it makes you "like."
Can you comprehend how preposterous it would sound of you, an American citizen, for example, were to suddenly say, "I have decided to follow King Jesus. I am now an Israeli citizen because I believe!" If you tried to enter that State on such belief alone you'd be a laughing stock sent home. If it doesn't work now, it will not work then. That's not how citizenship works. Paul is very clear about it. Make no mistake: you are no Israeli Citizen of King Jesus' Israel. A Citizen of the Commonwealth of Israel submitted Nations on the other hand, You absolutely are.
Replacement theology must die. Even Torah only replacement theology.3
If Jesus already returned in 70 A.D. as some Amillennialists, and nearly all preterists teach, then why would Jesus ask the question of whether He would find faith on the earth at His return in Luke 18? It was only ~37 years in the future. Surely the disciples could hold on that long. Adding to the impossibility that Jesus’ statement was offered in the context of the next ~37 years only, is the Great Commission of Matthew 28. Jesus did not expect the disciples to go into all the nations and make disciples in only 37 years.
Replacement/Christian Reconstruction/Kingdom Now-Dominionist theology (which Tov Rose addressed above) answers Jesus’ question concerning finding faith in the affirmative, although for them the fulfillment of Jesus’ expectation of finding faith won’t be until His return 36,0004 years in the future when Christians have converted all government systems worldwide to a theonomy. The idea that the world in its present condition will still be here in 36,000 years is untenable. Of course, theonomists argue that the world won’t be in its present condition but will grow increasingly Christian as a steadily growing remnant will have enough power to overthrow this current wicked Babylonian world system. This belief would be laughable if Christian Reconstructionists-Dominionists weren’t serious.
Replacement-Christian Reconstruction-Dominionist theology leans heavily on an allegorical approach to biblical interpretation, especially the prophetic books such as Revelation. In an allegorical approach interpreters are free to interpret the Scriptures free of any contextual anchor.
Replacement-Christian Reconstruction-Dominionist theology forsakes a future kingdom of the Lord Jesus upon His return as they believe the kingdom is now and denies a literal millennial reign of Jesus upon the earth. Replacement-Christian Reconstruction-Dominionist theology sees Israel as meaningless because it teaches the church is Israel. From this perspective Yahweh’s covenant promises are given to the church. There is absolutely nothing in the Scriptures that teaches that, but somehow Replacement theology argues for it. Replacement theology eliminates the rapture. Replacement-Christian Reconstruction-Dominionism changes the mission of the church from the Great Commission to “taking back” the governing apparatus of every nation, something that was never ours in the first place. Hear this loud and clear Christian - we are pilgrims here on this earth not residents. We are passing through, not setting up shop. “Those who dwell on the earth” are those who are marked out as unbelievers and rebels and who consider this earth their eternal home.
So, again, back to the question. Will Jesus find faith on the earth when He returns? Yahweh has not abandoned His people Israel. His love for Israel is unending. It does matter what you believe because what you believe does influence your action. For example, if you believe the church has replaced Israel in Yahweh’s eyes and that the church is now the recipient of Yahweh’s covenant promises instead of Israel, you will be consistently upset at the prominent place Israel and the Jewish people occupy in most evangelical, conservative, Bible-teaching and believing churches.
I believe Jesus was speaking of the faith of His people the Jews. Will He find faith when He returns? The answer is a resounding yes! ALL Israel will be saved Paul wrote, but all Israel are those who survive the tribulation to see His appearing. Zechariah 12:10 tells us of Yahweh’s faithfulness to Israel by declaring that when Yeshua returns, he “will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.” The mourning of the Jews in that day is in recognition that the Messiah of the Jews is the very same one unbelieving Israel has denied for millennium.
Israel is under attack by Islamic jihadists. Other Islamic nations and jihadist organizations are joining the war. Israel has been under attack for years by people with unbiblical theologies who claim faith in Jesus. People who claim Jesus as savior and show disdain or worse for Israel are headed for a rude awakening. What kind of deception is this that causes Americans to celebrate Israel’s harm right along with Hamas?
The time is now to make a strong course correction among the brethren so that when Jesus does return whether it is in our life time or not, He will find Christians faithful to His people Israel.
